The PBA went pretty well. For those who don't know all the year 3's had to take a Performance Based Assessment yesterday and today to test our communication skills with standardized patients. We had four cases which included: breaking bad news, social/cultural history, elder abuse, and sexual dysfunction. We all had to get a 3/5 average on the tests to pass the class. We will not find out if we passed until the end of May. I was really nervous, so I don't think I did so great in my first room. My last patient was pretty hard to control because he was off-the-wall about everything. Guess we will see at the end of May.
