Calling for ideas

I need some help. I have a paper coming up about a technology and its effects and have no clue what to write it on.

I was planning on writing on video games and obesity, but there is not enough information out there.

It must be a topic with lots of research. The paper has to be 12-15 pages.

Please leave suggestions in the comment section.

Update: Thanks for the suggestions. Your ideas all sounded wonderful, but I am not sure if there would be enough information about them. I think I have decided to write about safety in cars and how far we have come and its impact. There seems to be a lot of information out there about it.

BTW-Can't credit this idea to me....thanks Brian!

Hello Sarah! Glad to see you posted! You could do your paper on obesity and just a sedentary lifestyle and include video games. That might give you more info than video games alone. Good luck!

You could do your paper on the advances of quantum physics and how despite what it has shown about reality that people take it as fact when it far more resembles philosophy/ religion. How the science it taken over belief even though both are just explanations based on observations. Hell while your at it through in a little about how observation is flawed and you could end by stating that there is no external world and we mearly construct the reality around us, thus the self has control over reality more then reality has control of the self, which is kind of what new age quantum theory teaches us

    or something like that?

well, not sure if this qualifies as "technology"- maybe more medical technology- but you could do it on in-vitro fertilization and the effects that has had... there are many sub-topics you could address within this, such as Angel Adoptions, the ability to become parents at a later age and whether or not this is a good thing, surrogacy and the issues it raises, and the possibility of genetic engineering in the future...
